About Study Percussion... so far.

Study Percussion was founded to provide a total percussion approach to drums and percussion education. It is a collection of resources compiled designed for easy access and usage to teachers and students which is why it is FREE. These resources can be used in any setting for home and school use.

Tobin Wagstaff holds a Bachelors of Music (2003) and Masters of Music Education (2023) from the University of Florida.

 

He founded Studio Percussion (Gainesville, Florida) in 2002.

 

In 2010 he was featured on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on ABC.

 

Study Percussion was founded in 2022. It is the fruition of the research outlined in his Masters Capstone Project. Read Here.

 

He founded the St. Augustine Music School (St. Augustine, Florida) in 2023. He regularly performs in many percussion settings and is a public speaker to schools, universities, businesses, and community organizations.
